I love the way this table is set.

So simple.

White dishes, pretty flowers,

and I absolutely and completely,

have fallen in love with those tumblers.

I think it's time to make a change,

with the jelly jar glasses I have had for years.

These will definitely be going on my wish list.

a Lazy Weekend

Its suppose to be in the three digit temps this weekend.

So ours will be a lazy one.

From Paris to London

 Before with the pink walls and Paris theme

Flag I used for inspiration painting her British flag

She loved these pillows, but they were very expensive,

so I found the pillow cases with the LOVE on line,

really cheap.

A few months ago,

the dwarf was tired of the pepto bismol walls

and

Paris theme in her room.

So from the Paris theme,

she went to a London theme.

The two middle pictures are the

inspiration photos

we used.

I painted the British flag on an old canvas I had with

craft paint I bought at Walmart

and

the pillows I ordered on line.

I picked up a British serving tray at Goodwill and spray painted

a few frames I had laying around in a shiny-

lacquer-red.

We still need to do a few more things,

but I really like the way it turned out

and so does she.

the County Fair and no Chickens

Keeping eye contact with the judge.

The chicken's I didn't come home with.

Mr. Mustard didn't do so well this year.

He took 3rd place.

Only 1st and 2nd place were able to sell.

Now we have to look for a home for him.

Preferably,

somewhere with cooler temps.

I think my hubby did a sigh of relief

when I didn't go to the auction.

I can get a little crazy at auctions.

But did you know that you can order chicken's on line?

Life lately

The weather here has been strange.

Hot, then windy and now cold.

Rain is supposedly on its way.

Will believe it when I see it or smell it.

I love the smell of rain on the desert.

The county fair has started.

Mr. Mustard is in a cage in one of the buildings.

The prospect of letting him go is hard.

Even though, Arizona summers are not for rabbits.

I don't allow pets in the house.

Hence, he has to go.

Last summer, just about did him in.

I have been dreaming about bidding on 

a few of the chickens at the auction.

If I have the chickens, then my hubby will have to build me

a chicken house.

Planning a family reunion

Every three years,

the family on my Mother's side gets together

for a family reunion.

About a year before the reunion,

the women get together to start the planning

and designate jobs.

We are not in charge of t-shirts,

but I came across this etsy shop,

and thought these were cute t-shirts.

We are of Basque heritage,

so whoever is in charge of designing t-shirts

will incorporate this into their design.

We are in charge of the band, the family video, and

I will help my sister with the games for the kids.

My daughter reserved a kick a..  band for dancing

 (we are dancing fools)

and now we need to get busy on the video...

but of course,

I am daydreaming of other things that I am not in charge of.
