New Year's Eve

a rockin' new year's eve party invite

a simple, but classy new year's eve invite

Love these easy to do party hats from Ellinee

This looks like a fun tassel garland to hang at a new year's eve party

Don't forget the sparkler's

or the bubbly...

images 5,6,7 I can't remember where they came from
a nice way to finish out the year,
with a cupcake...

My Imaginary Birthday Party

Since this is my imaginary Birthday Party,
I have blonde hair and its long.
Oh, and look,
I'm skinny too...

Since I am always undecided on what to wear.
I will wear two dresses.
This one will be for the beginning of the party

this one to dance in...
I will probably ditch the red shoes and leave the boots on...

Of course,
there will be lots of white decor
and a
cake buffet...

I love cake...

Drinks would be served in JUGS...
no little mason jars at this party.

and at the end of the night,
my husband would surprise me with the best gift of all,

Thanks for coming to my party.
It was lots of fun...

Let's do it again,
next year...

I have discovered that life doesn’t actually knock you down.
 It does, however,
provide you with many opportunities to evaluate your standing in life:
 what you stand on,
 what you stand for,
how you stand within yourself and for yourself.

All is Calm All is Bright

I saw the
All is Calm All is Bright
decided my bedroom needed some decoration for Christmas.
Super Easy...

Now what would Christmas be without
frosting a million sugar cookies?
quick and easy.
The peanut butter balls are new this year.
A little time consuming, but so worth it.
I found the recipe here.
I cut the recipe in half and I am so glad I did.
Can you imagine doing three more trays of those little suckers?

Just thought I would throw in some very unprofessional pictures
of some of my Christmas decorations.
Now you know why
I scour the internet looking for pics for the blog.
one...I own a point and shoot and that's about all I know about taking pictures.
two-anything on a camera besides where you click to take the picture
scares the h*** out of me.

last but not least,
is the random groceries my Dad dropped off this week.

The grapes were really good.
So was the bread.
I have yet to eat the ONE avocado or the
winter? corn.

Thanks Dad,
Its one of my favorite parts of the day when you bring me groceries.

All I want for Christmas,
is all the above.
Who else,
to make white and sparkly

What colors are you wearing this year for Christmas?

Shopping for my Hubby

Or, let's just call it like it is,
playing dress up with my hubby.
Finding the perfect gift for my hubby is never easy.
I want to buy him clothes and cologne
he wants me to buy him stuff for the great outdoors.

We have been married for 28 years.
For 28 years, every Christmas, my hubby has wanted a watch.
He needs help.

I LOVE white t-shirts on men.

My hubby would so rock this hoodie.

I through this in just to make him happy
and to keep him at home.

I am so getting this coat for Ken.
I mean my hubby.

My hubby wouldn't be caught dead in them.

I hope you have enjoyed my dress up time with my Hubby.

Words I would say

Be strong in the Lord and,
Never give up hope,

You’re going to do great things,
I already know,
God’s got His hand on you so,
Don’t live life in fear,
Forgive and forget,
But don’t forget why you’re here,
Take your time and pray,
These are the words I would say.

Christmas Morning Pajamas

I love Christmas morning.
Lounging around in pajamas all day,
eating the french toast that you made the night before
to stick in the oven in the morning,
so that you could enjoy the morning with your family.
Picking up all the trash from the opened gifts,
kids yelling at each other,
wondering where all this new stuff is going to go,
looking at the dried up Christmas tree and
more like panicking,
that tree is out of here, TODAY...
So much for loving Christmas morning.

But I do love the pajamas above.
What about you?
Do you wear special pajamas for Christmas morning?

Get your Glitter On

I love the Holidays
as an excuse to use glitter.
Its a time
when everything around you seems to
shine just a bit more with a touch of sparkle.
