Candy Disguised as a Drink


Hot Chocolate for Two

·        1 1/2 cups whole milk

·        1/2 cup heavy cream

·        4 ounces chocolate, preferably dark

·        3 teaspoons of sugar, depending on how sweet you like it

·        1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

·          dash of salt

1) Chop the chocolate very finely.
2) In a medium saucepan, bring the milk and cream to a low simmer over medium heat, whisking occasionally.

3) Add the chocolate,  vanilla, and salt. Whisk vigorously until all of the chocolate has melted. Cook for an additional 4 minutes, whisking constantly.

4) Serve with homemade whipped cream.

Serves 2 generously

It has been so cold here in the desert that
I have been making this recipe everyday for the
past week.
I am going to weigh 300 pounds by the time
Christmas is over.
