Even the Chickens are Busy

My week was very productive

and at least one chicken was busy

as you can see from the pic

we got our first egg

It only cost me two hundred plus dollars

hopefully, we will have more

I saw this shelving on the internet

and quickly pinned it to my pinterest board

furniture my hubby could make

with a few trips to the hardware store

cussing, rolling of the eyes, (all done by him)

telling me how much he hates threaded pipe

it got done

and

I love it

I am going to use it in the vintage market

I have been sewing up a storm

and if you know me

I don't sew

I am a very unconventional sewer

A Bow and What I Wore on Sunday

Bows bows bows

I have been seeing them everywhere

I happened upon this one by accident

a mishap in sewing

led me to being creative

maybe I will make some for the vintage market

I found the skirt above while thrifting

it is my all time favorite

I want to wear it everyday

I will also confess

that I wore no make-up to Mass

I really like the word

humble

just not in this context

I have a daughter who looks a little different

and that will definitely make you humble

but when it comes to my opinion

that one is hard to swallow

I just know I am right

I love the simplicity of this bathroom

I would probably throw in a bit of color

with a little pink or fuschia

I love the mix of art work on the last pic

Busy as a Bee

2013

is flying by

I just realized that when my grandson is around

I get nothing done

at the end of this month

I am going to be a vendor

at a vintage market

I have a million things running through my head

hopefully, time will be on my side

and I will get everything done

I made myself an organizational board in my office

to help me complete my tasks

and to stay organized

and so far

it has worked amazingly

I have also been in a cooking funk

so yesterday,

I jotted down a week's worth of meals

along with the recipes and a grocery list

and after Mass I did my shopping for the week

crossing my fingers this will help

I meant to take a picture of what I wore to Mass yesterday

but my brain is in "get things done mode"

and as soon as I got home

I put on my working clothes and got busy

and then about half way through getting stuff done

I realized I forgot to take a picture of my dress

a flowery dress from Goodwill

it was so cute

and only five bucks

you should have seen it
