as spooky as i can get

My dad was throwing away this tin.
When I told him I wanted it, he just laughed at me.
I knew I would find a use for it.
I can't stand to throw tin away.
 I just love it.
For some reason,
my Dad has decided that he needs to clean up the junk at his ranch.
He brings loads and loads of stuff down to take to the junk people.
When I saw what he was doing, I just about had a heart attack.
I told him to STOP it.
I even made him pull a few items off of the trailer,
 which was no easy task.

This barrel belonged to my Dad.
The branches were used in the centerpieces at my daughter's wedding.
I bought the black bird's at Michael's.
I wish I had bought more.
When I went back to buy more, they were out.

This frame is waiting for a picture of my daughter from her wedding.
So I added a paper crow.
Love it....

Another idea stolen from Martha.
Only she put the hands in punch.

You can't tell from this picture,
but the urns were filled with dry ice which formed ice crystals on the outside of the urns.
I loved the look of the ice on the outside of the urns.
It gave the table a creepy element.

My jello face.

Homemade caramel corn.

Store bought cupcakes.
I had to draw the line some where.
 Sheesh!

Ali with Bella and Edward.

Ali with her prom queen cousin and her kitty cat best friend
who looks as if she has horns coming out of her head.
Ali went as "Sandy"
from "Grease".
I think she was way "hotter" then Sandy.

Little Miss Super Hero!
Who fell asleep before the party even started and woke up when the
party ended at midnight.

This party was soooo much fun and soooo much work.

My favorite thing of the night was the jello face I made.
I found the recipe in a Martha Stewart magazine.
Her recipe called for wine. I substituted the wine with "Pom" pomegranite juice.
The jello face was my creation.
I have seen her do this with juice for punch and I thought,
"Why not jello?"
I used blackberries for his collar.
Nobody wanted to eat the face.

A big THANK YOU to my sister
for taking pictures and to my
brother and his family for the fog machine.
I love you guys... your the best!

Spooked out,
Petie
