Spring is  not one of my favorite times of the year.

I love the fall, winter and if I lived by the ocean

I would love the summer, but I don't live by the ocean, 

I live in the desert. 

But even the summers beat the spring for me.

Call me weird.

I've been called worse.

I love all the colors n the pics above.

Its raining here in Arizona

and for some reason, I feel like baking.

Wait,

I mean,

I feel like eating something that has been baked.

No dirty dishes, etc.

You might say,

I am just plain lazy today.

HEARTS ABOUND

I love making garlands.

I cut out hearts from an old cookbook from the 50's and strung them

on some twine I bought at an estate sale for .25 cents.

And then hung them on an old sheepherders box that I got from

my Mom and Dad.  

The box was put on the burros that they used when they 

trailed the sheep to the cool country in the summer.

I just love its blue patina with its chippy paint.

A Super Bowl Mess

I think I used every pan in my kitchen for Super Bowl Food.

The other side of the sink that you can't see,

was full of dishes I had already washed.

If I had the time and the patience,
 I would make these for the people I loved.

If my husband worked in an office,

I would definitely add these buttons to his shirt for 

Valentines Day...

Just so he could feel the love...
