Spring

is my least favorite season

the weather during spring is so wishy washy

it can't make up its mind

cold hot and windy

all in the same day

But what I do love about spring,

 summer is right around the corner

and I love the summer time

swimming, ice cold watermelon, sitting on our back porch

 and drinking lots of ice tea

until it's so freaking hot I can't take one more day of hot weather

and I am wishing for fall and sweaters

I went to Ulta to buy Philosophy's

field of flowers orange blossom shower gel

it smell's heavenly

and at the counter they had these little

tubs of yellow lip gloss

I am so thankful for my impulse buy

lemon drop lip balm

it smells and taste yummy

I will probably end up with chapped lips

because I can't quit licking them

Women Changing the World

This past weekend

I attended a blogging conference

that was put on by some very talented women

I learned so much

my head is spinning with ideas

One of the things that stood out for me

is how generous and caring the other bloggers were

real women making changes in the world

for the greater good

seeing a need and fulfilling that need

with their generosity

these women have talents that reach far beyond a blog...

I truly believe that their

future endeavors are going to be amazing

 paired  with

kind and giving hearts and humor

I don't think there is anything they won't be able to accomplish

I feel honored to have been a part of this event
