Its a good thing I don't drink.
I have been to three parties in the last two weeks.
If I had been the drinking kind,
I would have been stuck in bed,
hung over,
feeding my children Cheerios from a box.
Oh wait,
my only child left at home is 15.
She is still asking me,
What's for breakfast?
What's for lunch?
What's for dinner?
and if I had been drinking,
my answer would have been, Cheerios.
What is it with children and meals?
We will call this, the "SWEET" baby shower Party.
We used Martha Stewart party supplies.
and all the sweets were made by the hostesses,
CARAMEL popcorn, peach CUPCAKES,
chocolate DIPPED pretzel sticks, SUGAR cookies,
RED velvet CAKE,
and CANDY in jars.
I changed the color of the ELEPHANT to red.
A much better choice than the orange.
I didn't get any pictures of the next party we went too,
My nephew's COLLEGE graduation party.
It was held at a local FAVORITE restaurant.
I miss their TACOS.
We don't frequent this place very often, due to the fact that
our OLD Business partners who RIPPED us off,
can you say "WHITE COLLAR CRIME?"
LIVE THERE.
When I was going through the paperwork to prove their "THIEVERY",
there was charge after charge on the credit card bill to this place.
and to think I was at home,
feeding my family CHEERIOS.
Oh well,
LIFE goes ON.
Next up,
my MOTHER'S 80th birthday party.
My sister got this idea off of Pinterest.
We made copies of pictures of my Mom from the time she was little to now.
It was a lot of fun getting these pictures together
and going over to my sister's house to put them together to form the 80.
After going through all the pictures,
I've decided that I have,
ONE HOT MOM.
WOW!
and that is after SIX children.
We must have been really good CHILDREN...
A picture with two of her grandchildren.
It was a great NIGHT with family and friends,
CHINESE food, balloons, misters, and
tres LECHE cake, as requested by her and a CHAMPAGNE toast.
A BIG thank you to my sister for hosting this party.
