Saturday pants

The weather is chilly.
I've made the hot chocolate.
Now all I want to do is lay around in these
lazy day sweat pants and leggings.
What about you?
Does the cold weather make you want to stay indoors and snuggle?

Party Punch

via

Don't these drinks look yummy?
I will serving a version of these at my family Christmas party this year.
I think they will go perfect with the menu.

Party Punch

1 1/4 cups white sugar
6 cups water
2 pkgs. (3 oz) strawberry flavored gelatin mix
1 can (46 oz) pineapple juice
2/3 cup lemon juice
1 qt. orange juice
1 2-liter bottle 7-UP
1 2-liter bottle ginger ale

In a large saucepan, combine sugar, water and gelatin.  Boil for 3 minutes.  Stir in pineapple juice,
lemon juice and orange juice.  Divide mixture in half and freeze in 2 separate containers.  When
ready to serve, place the frozen contents of one container in a punch bowl, and stir in 1/2 of each
bottle of soda until slushy.  When the punch runs low, use the remaining slush and soda to make a
second batch.

Makes 50 servings

Two of my favorite things in the whole world
are flour sack tea towels
and roosters.
I am loving this towel for the holidays.

There must be a million pics
of Advent calendars in the blogging world.
This one looks simple enough.
I think I will try my hand at this one.

Do you do an advent calendar in your home?

Pink salt...
I think I might use this on my salted Caramels this year.
I have never made caramels.
I have been known to plan way to much in my head
this time of year...

Simple sugar cookies.
Now this is what I need to do.
Simple...

I love old baubles,
especially,
Pink ones...
We had a fire in one of our sheds a few years ago,
and I lost most of my
old baubles...

I am on day 3 of decorating...
I am feeling a little bit "Scroogie".
Strands of lights not working,
short on lighted garland, garland,
dirt everywhere...
Is it over yet?
