and just like that it's the weekend

as I am typing this post my hands are ice cold

and I am thinking about going to the store

to pick up a few things for the weekend feast

but the cold keeps me from moving

my mind says, get moving

and my body says, not yet

I have read some thought provoking articles this past week

that I just can't get out of my head

and then I came across this article

that brought a smile to my face

I think it would make a great short story on film

Here's to a peaceful weekend

and this song that I have been listening to all week on my iphone

while I am grudgingly getting my exercise

A Weekend with Hank

Hank is a happy 1 year old

so curious

loves his bath in the kitchen sink

loves visiting his papa's dogs

loves the song baa baa black sheep

I can't believe that I still remember

all those songs I sang to my kids

my SIL use to sing a song just singing all the names in the family

so I did what she did when my kids came along

and now I do it for Hank

he loved it rocking his body back and forth

his favorite thing to do this weekend was to be outside

he loved looking through the windows back into the house

Having a baby around is so much fun

especially, all the hugs and kisses

I am in love with this bedding...

The family will be home this weekend,

so it will be a busy one,

with lots of cooking, eating, fighting, talking, more eating,

and lots of hugs and kisses for Hank

and for the hubby...

He is such a baby, if he doesn't get enough attention,

the hubby, not Hank.

It's a good thing he smells so good...
