Jane's Famous Cheesecake Pie

I found this recipe in blog land and it is delicious and so easy. The recipe makes two pies. I made one, not knowing if it was going to be any good or not, and I regret that I made only one. It was gone in two minutes and my family was asking for more.

3 bricks softened cream cheese
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla
Beat cream cheese until blended.
Add sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Do not over beat.
Pour into 2, 8" pie pans with your favorite crust.
( I used a regular pie crust the first time and a graham cracker ready made crust the second and they were both wonderful!)
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until dry around the edges and moist in the middle.
Sprinkle with cinnamon while hot.
Topping
1 pint of sour cream
4 Tablespoons of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
Mix together and frost cheesecake with toppping when completely cooled.
Enjoy!

JOY

Weeping may endure for a night, but.....

JOY
comes in the morning!

I am not sure which psalm this is,
but its exactly the way I feel this morning.
Thank you God for the JOY in my life!
and blessing me beyond my wildest dreams.....

My sister is the Devil

My wise brother once said, " The Devil doesn't just appear in front of us, because if he did, we would know immediately that it was his Evilness and we would turn our back on him, so the Evil Prince has to come to us in other forms to trick us".

So today, the Evil Prince came in the form of my sister and I took it hook, line and sinker. Lucky for me that I quickly recovered from this bite and saw it for what it really was, pure evil.

I need to remember that I need to be diligent and on guard for him, he comes to me in the most unlikely people and places.

Thank you God for being in my life and protecting me.

It's starting to look alot like a M.S. Christmas....

There was a time when I was crazy for Martha Stewart. I loved everything about her. Martha inspired me.....

Martha, Martha, Martha,
why did you go and lie to those "Men in suits"? It changed everything and the Martha Stewart that I once knew was gone....

I am still inspired by Martha from the past, hence, my house looks very "Martha Stewart Christmassy" ( if thats a word). Thank you Martha Stewart for the inspiration that keeps on going......

On a sad note, I stopped by KMart this year to pick up some Martha Stewart kitchen towels (they are my favorite or I should say they WERE my favorite and I loved giving them as gifts) and they no longer carry Martha Stewart products. I think I'm in mourning or depression. Whatever it is, I am just sick over this.....
